sudo port install autoconf fails with the error below.

Error: Failed to patch autoconf: command execution failed

How is this xz being found? Have you changed binpath?

I moved Applications/Wine out of the way and it builds now. You can close.

Resolution: → worksforme
Status: assigned → closed

The issue was that /Applications/Wine/bin was (a) in the PATH being used by MacPorts and (b) earlier than /opt/local/bin. I'd still be rather concerned about how it got there, but OK.
