Replying to mf2k:
In the future, please add the port maintainer(s) to Cc (
port info --maintainers osxfuse
), if any.
Can I do it now, or too late ?

I have already assigned this ticket to the maintainer.

Summary: | osxfuse @3.8.3_0 : Build fails on Cataline 10.15.1 → osxfuse @3.8.3_0 : Build fails without Xcode installed |
---|
It looks like osxfuse really does need Xcode, and should thus set use_xcode yes
so users will be told to install it. Note that there is another issue building on Catalina which is covered by #59316.

You mean full Xcode? May be the way exists to tell all dependent apps to use osxfuse from osxfuse.github.io ?
