You have provided no useful information to debug your problem. Please attach the main.log file after cleaning the port (sudo port clean ddd
) and re-open the ticket.

Please do this:
sudo port clean ddd sudo port -v install ddd
and when it fails:
cp /opt/local/var/macports/logs/_opt_local_var_macports_sources_rsync.macports.org_macports_release_tarballs_ports_devel_ddd/ddd/main.log ~/ddd-fail-main.log
and then, using the "Attachements" button, select that log ddd-fail-main.log
in your home folder, and attach it to this ticket. Then we can reopen it and (perhaps) sort you out.
