After upgrade to bigsur (beta 11 ad this day) macport cannot run
tjhe latest PKG 2.6.3 for mac osx doesn't run also tried to compile from https://distfiles.macports.org/MacPorts/MacPorts-2.6.3.tar.bz2 make
reports 20 compile errors :
error: architecture not supported
the same for GIT

Error: Current platform "darwin 20" does not match expected platform "darwin 19"
This means you installed MacPorts for Catalina. You must always install MacPorts for your specific major OS version. See wiki:Migration for how to upgrade, if you need to upgrade from a previous install. We won't be offering package installers for Big Sur until after Big Sur final is released so you will need to compile MacPorts from source to make it Big Sur compatible.

This problem is unfamiliar to me. MacPorts git master compiles and works fine for me on macOS 11 beta.
