Description

Building atlas fails.

I am using macOS 10.14.6 with Xcode 11.3.1 (11C504)

The failure happened after several hours of running, so frankly I am unlikely to try again. Log file is attached.

log never quite made it...please attach it if you still have it.

Atlas looks to need some attention, according to ports.macports.org

I'm sorry, it exceeded the size limit, and I didn't notice that the upload failed. Attached a gzip'ped version.

I apologise for not being sure to be able to do anything. As I explained in another track thread about atlas, the software is outdated, hard to debug, and its algorithm for picking the best "kernel" (i.e. assembly snippet) for each LAPACK function does not work on modern OSes which prioritise power consumption over performance.

I think I’m going to pull the plug and nip Atlas off Macports
