Description
Hello! I am new to using the Macports and the terminal, so please forgive me for my ignorance in asking this question. I am trying to install openCv with Java bindings by using:
sudo port install opencv +java
As indicated from the installation protocols from this website: http://javagrinders-arc.blogspot.com
The command gets all the way to the "building db48" stage when the command execution fails. I have attached the open log that is generated from the error report. Any and all advice is extremely welcome, and again sorry for any ignorance that may come with this question. We all have to start somewhere!
This is on a late 2013 iMac running Catalina.

Summary: | Error code: CHILDSTATUS 23380 2 → db48: fatal error: 'jni.h' file not found |
The log says:
:info:build ../dist/../libdb_java/db_java_wrap.c:137:10: fatal error: 'jni.h' file not found :info:build #include <jni.h> :info:build ^~~~~~~ :info:build 1 error generated.
So this is a duplicate of #57743.
P.S: It's easier for us if you just attach the unmodified main.log to the ticket rather than convert it to a Word document first.
