Description
Looking at the MacPorts page for tripwire, it has failed to build since 10.14. I've been using this tool for years, but I just upgraded my OS to 10.15.7 and now it's broken. Just putting in a plug to keep this tool alive, it's really handy!

It can't build on 10.14 and later because the port forces the use of libstdc++ which does not exist on 10.14 and later.
I had tried to update the port to the new version at github last year. Let me see where I left that...

So this is totally awesome, installs perfectly again. Seriously, if there's a place I can give a donation to MacPorts, let me know.

I'm glad it's helpful to you! A donation is not required. Since MacPorts isn't a legal entity we don't accept donations for the project as a whole. If you'd like to contribute to me personally, you can do so at https://github.com/sponsors/ryandesign.
Looks like it hasn't been updated since 2011 on sourceforge (where the port currently fetches from); its new home is here: https://github.com/Tripwire/tripwire-open-source
