Description
This is a known open issue with pytorch: https://github.com/pytorch/pytorch/issues/20206
Temporary workaround: install protobuf v3.11.4
For other users: how to install protobuf v3.11.4: https://trac.macports.org/wiki/howto/InstallingOlderPort
