Description

It looks like these two ports are failing to build across-the-board. Should we obsolete them, given how outdated VLC 2 is anyway?

We may want them fixed at least for PPC, where VLC3 is unavailable.

I have it building on PowerPC now – and yes, it is actually working too.

Let me sort out some variants, and I make a PR. I will restrict it to older platforms though; there is no point to build it on new systems, and will likely fail anyway.
