Description
MacPorts 2.7.1 now wants to update to clang-9.0 before I can install anything but the required package doesn't seem to exist. This has become a real show-stopper for me. I'm running Snow Leopard 10.6.8 on a 32-bit-only CoreDuo "Yonah" original white MacBook.

We only build archives for ports' default variants, so since +analyzer is not on by default, there is indeed no archive for your specific variant combination. If you don't need +analyzer, you can specify -analyzer when upgrading, or just uninstall clang-9.0 and let it be installed with the default variants when needed as a dependency.

I did not select +analyzer. It was MacPorts that was looking for that. I uninstalled clang-9.0 it included +analyzer. I then cleaned clang-9.0 and upgraded outdated. This time it chose to upgrade clang-9.0 without the +analyzer option. All better now. Thanks!!
