libsecret build hangs on vapigen process forever

This is not the first time I see some port calls vapigen-0.52 and that process just hangs forever with 100% load on a single core.

Example:

/opt/local/bin/vapigen-0.52  --library libsecret-1 --metadatadir ./libsecret   --pkg glib-2.0 --pkg gio-2.0 Secret-1.gir
/opt/local/bin/g-ir-compiler --includedir=. --includedir=. --includedir=. Secret-1.gir -o Secret-1.typelib
