Description (last modified by choralbari)
There seems to be some sort of mismatch with Python versions. I have boost176 +python39 installed, but configure is looking for python310. sudo install boost176 +python310 did not help.

Error: Follow https://guide.macports.org/#project.tickets if you believe there is a bug. Error: Processing of port ledger failed
Uninstalling python310 temporarily got it working.

Issue seems easy enough to reproduce. On my system:

We need to tell the build to use python39. The port already appears to try to do that with -DPYTHON_EXECUTABLE=${prefix}/bin/python${py_ver}
but I guess that's not enough.

It needs to be Python_EXECUTABLE
not PYTHON_EXECUTABLE
. Apparently CMake flags are case-sensitive. Brilliant.
