Description
Hi everyone,
Running Macports 2.7.1 on Mac OS Catalina 10.15.7.
I noticed today that img2pdf returns the following error every time I try to run it:
Traceback (most recent call last): File "/opt/local/bin/img2pdf", line 33, in <module> sys.exit(load_entry_point('img2pdf==0.4.3', 'console_scripts', 'img2pdf')()) File "/opt/local/bin/img2pdf", line 25, in importlib_load_entry_point return next(matches).load() File "/opt/local/Library/Frameworks/Python.framework/Versions/3.9/lib/python3.9/importlib/metadata.py", line 77, in load module = import_module(match.group('module')) File "/opt/local/Library/Frameworks/Python.framework/Versions/3.9/lib/python3.9/importlib/__init__.py", line 127, in import_module return _bootstrap._gcd_import(name[level:], package, level) File "<frozen importlib._bootstrap>", line 1030, in _gcd_import File "<frozen importlib._bootstrap>", line 1007, in _find_and_load File "<frozen importlib._bootstrap>", line 986, in _find_and_load_unlocked File "<frozen importlib._bootstrap>", line 680, in _load_unlocked File "<frozen importlib._bootstrap_external>", line 850, in exec_module File "<frozen importlib._bootstrap>", line 228, in _call_with_frames_removed File "/opt/local/Library/Frameworks/Python.framework/Versions/3.9/lib/python3.9/site-packages/img2pdf.py", line 49, in <module> import pikepdf File "/opt/local/Library/Frameworks/Python.framework/Versions/3.9/lib/python3.9/site-packages/pikepdf/__init__.py", line 19, in <module> from ._version import __version__ File "/opt/local/Library/Frameworks/Python.framework/Versions/3.9/lib/python3.9/site-packages/pikepdf/_version.py", line 7, in <module> from pkg_resources import DistributionNotFound File "/opt/local/Library/Frameworks/Python.framework/Versions/3.9/lib/python3.9/site-packages/pkg_resources/__init__.py", line 3267, in <module> def _initialize_master_working_set(): File "/opt/local/Library/Frameworks/Python.framework/Versions/3.9/lib/python3.9/site-packages/pkg_resources/__init__.py", line 3241, in _call_aside f(*args, **kwargs) File "/opt/local/Library/Frameworks/Python.framework/Versions/3.9/lib/python3.9/site-packages/pkg_resources/__init__.py", line 3279, in _initialize_master_working_set working_set = WorkingSet._build_master() File "/opt/local/Library/Frameworks/Python.framework/Versions/3.9/lib/python3.9/site-packages/pkg_resources/__init__.py", line 573, in _build_master ws.require(__requires__) File "/opt/local/Library/Frameworks/Python.framework/Versions/3.9/lib/python3.9/site-packages/pkg_resources/__init__.py", line 891, in require needed = self.resolve(parse_requirements(requirements)) File "/opt/local/Library/Frameworks/Python.framework/Versions/3.9/lib/python3.9/site-packages/pkg_resources/__init__.py", line 777, in resolve raise DistributionNotFound(req, requirers) pkg_resources.DistributionNotFound: The 'packaging>=20' distribution was not found and is required by pikepdf
Does anyone know what is going on here, and whether there's a fix? Thanks in advance!
