Description
I used source repo from the latest qgit source code in Github https://github.com/tibirna/qgit. I could compile successfully by CMake with Qt5 for M1 Mac in Monterey.
No patches are needed.

the port has no maintainer. So feel free to make the needed changes to the Portfile and submit a PR to get these incorporated more quickly.
You may assign the ticket to me, I am the maintainer now, and since arm64 does not support Qt4, I can add a version for new systems with Qt5.
