db48 install fails in Java section — at Initial Version

Description
When installing db48 on a PPC OSX 10.4 machine, the install fails during the Java step. Message reads "Failed to build db49: command execution failed", and it seems to have had 100 errors and 31 warnings. Log dump is attached to this ticket.
