This is a request to update libxslt to version 1.1.37.
I would like to suggest completing #63601 at the same time.

Thanks for letting us know the update is available; livecheck doesn't indicate it. I'll fix that and update the port as well. The patches are no longer needed since they're already upstream.
I'll leave #63601 for someone else to do another time as I have no input on optimization flags and it is not customary for ports to modify them.

Thanks for the update. It has increased performance significantly. Using more aggressive optimization options does not appear have a large effect for this version (with my specific use case) so I no longer need #63601.

@ryandesign I was going to submit an update, but I see that you are active in https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/libxslt/-/issues/36 and already understand the reason for that patch so I'll leave it to you.
