xboard fails to open

Description
after having installed xboard, when typing xboard on the terminal it directly fails with the following error: Unable to create font set for -*-helvetica-medium-r-normal--12-*-*-*-*-*-*-*,-misc-fixed-medium-r-normal--12-*-*-*-*-*-*-*,-*-*-*-*-*-*-12-*-*-*-*-*-*-*.
It might be related to the following issue: https://bugs.mageia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=13810
