Description
Hi, I am completely new user of Mac (MacOS 13. 0.1) and I am currently trying to install the virtual gate (http://www.opengatecollaboration.org) on Mac by using Macports. However I am getting an error. I am not sure what is the issue. Please see the attached error.log file for the details.
Error: Failed to build xrootd: command execution failed Error: See /opt/local/var/macports/logs/_opt_local_var_macports_sources_rsync.macports.org_macports_release_tarballs_ports_science_xrootd/xrootd/main.log for details. Error: rev-upgrade failed: Error rebuilding gate Error: Follow https://guide.macports.org/#project.tickets if you believe there is a bug.

Hi, thanks for your reply. I am using a precompiled version to install Gate software.(https://opengate.readthedocs.io/en/latest/installation.html#installing-with-macports-macos-users-only).By using the command "sudo port install gate". I am not sure how can I disable the bindings?I am a beginner any details are much appreciated.

For now I suggest trying to manually disable the bindings variant. i.e. install
xrootd -python310

The log shows the failure is with gate, not xrootd, so nothing to do with this ticket.

Please open a different ticket for build issues relating to gate.

Okay thanks, I will open a new ticket. Before I jump to a new ticket, I believe I am getting similar error when I ma trying to install Virt-manager with macports. Please see the attached log file. Is there is any issue with my ports?
