Description
This is a bit of a strange one, but I have just tried installing the quartz-version of Inkscape using this port and got the X11-version. Please let me know if there is any additional information I can provide to help reproduce this.
Steps to reproduce
- Install inkscape:
port install inkscape +quartz && port install inkscape-app
- Launch inkscape.app
- Observe failure
Expected behavior
The Quartz version of Inkscape is launched
Observed behavior
The X11 version ob Inkscape starts under XQuartz
Environment
- macOS Monterey version 12.6.5 (21G531)
- XCode version 14.2 (14C18)

Never mind. Turns out I'm just dumb and shouldn't use a computer unsupervised. Sorry for the pointless ticket.

What was the solution here? I have the same problem, but with inkscape @1.3.2_2+quartz. Maybe I should also not use a computer unsupervised!

Ah, dang. Maybe I should have written up what the problem was exactly, because I don't remember now. I have a vague memory that there were some other ports installed with +X11 that shouldn't have been and that caused the problem somehow? Sorry I can't be more helpful than that :/

Got it. Guided by your comment, I uninstalled all ports, installed inkscape +quartz
, and then reinstalled all other ports again. This gave me Inkscape without X11. Thank you.
