#68754 assigned defect

Unable to install GATE software

Reported by: potts352 Owned by: mojca (Mojca Miklavec)
Priority: Normal Milestone:
Component: ports Version: 2.8.1
Keywords: Cc:
Port: gate

Description (last modified by ryandesign (Ryan Carsten Schmidt))

Successfully installed GEANT4 and ROOT6. When I type in sudo port install gate it initially said that there were two variants of geant4 installed and that I needed to clean the port to get rid of the incorrect one which did work. Then when I tried installing gate again, it began to run but then once it tries to build gate, it gets to 6% and fails. I have tried uninstalling all ports and re-installing them. It said try cleaning the ports so I tried that too. I pasted the error message below. Not sure what issue is.

Error: Failed to build gate: command execution failed
Error: See /opt/local/var/macports/logs/_opt_local_var_macports_sources_rsync.macports.org_macports_release_tarballs_ports_science_gate/gate/main.log for details.
Error: Follow https://guide.macports.org/#project.tickets if you believe there is a bug.
Error: Processing of port gate failed

Would you be able to direct me on how to do that? I believe it is somewhere under console.
