Summary: ffmpeg build now fails after latest port selfupdate → ffmpeg @4.4.4_5+gpl2 configure failure 
:info:configure /usr/bin/clang is unable to create an executable file.

:info:configure Include the log file "ffbuild/config.log" produced by configure as this will help
:info:configure solve the problem.

As of 2024/03/01 fixed port now compiles and installs fine
