Port problem reporting mechanism "port report <portname>"

Would it make sense to create a central port problem reporting mechanism. The idea would be to collate problem reports via a centralized collector, aggregating potential issues into a more central/visible element.

For example, a port is broken and doesn't build correctly, "port report <portname>" would send the build logs and other data to a central collector. If it's a known issue, maybe the collector might even have an automated response containing that info which could be a comment from or pointer to a ticket.

This may grant a higher view into potential issues for port maintainers, reducing noise in mailing lists, tickets, etc.
