I am trying to install ghostcript in my Mac and the MacPort cannot find the package. What do I do?

Do you mean you wrote the package name wrong when you tried to install it, and that was the cause of the problem, or just that you wrote it wrong in the ticket?

What do you mean that you "cannot find the package"? You should be able to install it by running sudo port install ghostscript
and if you'd then like to know what got installed, you can run port contents ghostscript
.
