Tenacity painfully slow

Hi,
I've just installed Tenacity from mac ports on my ancient macOS 10.14 machine. The install worked with no issues.
Unfortunately it is painfully slow to do anything. For example I'm normalizing a track. Doing the same thing in an old version of Audacity takes ~1 minute, but Tenacity is closer to 10 minutes.
I'm not sure if I've missed something in the install process. I'm not very well versed in mac ports.

I haven't used the Tenacity port much since I made the port for it, but in my brief use I didn't notice it being slow, and I don't believe the port is doing anything unusual in the installation of the software that would cause it to be slow. You may need to file a bug report with the developers of Tenacity.
