The answer is explicitly no
, which leads to the test failure?
Installed are p5.38-mac-systemdirectory @0.140.0_0 (active) requested_variants='' platform='darwin 17' archs='x86_64' date='2024-10-29T10:42:07+0100'
and also ossp-uuid @1.6.2_13+perl5_34 (active) requested_variants='' platform='darwin 17' archs='x86_64' date='2022-12-20T18:06:22+0100'

I think the problem here is that the port
previously was not installed
. Now that it is, test
runs but FAILs.
So this report is rather invalid.

p5.38-file-homedir @1.6.0_0 (active) requested_variants='' platform='darwin any' archs='noarch' date='2024-10-29T12:19:31+0100'
Corrected line. And one more correction: test
PASSes. (Wrong tab in Safari.)

It's weird to file bug reports against ports that don't exist.
If you're trying to create a port or subport and are having problems, the macports-dev list is a good place to ask questions.
