Description
jrendezvous-0.1.2
the portfile can be found here: http://wwwcip.informatik.uni-erlangen.de/~simrweis/dports/jrendezvous/Portfile
Description: jrendezvous is a Java library for using the zero-conf/rendezvous network protocol established by Apple. It enables Java programs promote themselfs and discover other rendezvous enabled programs on a LAN.
Homepage: http://www.strangeberry.com/java_rendevous.htm [very spartan]
Comments: As we do not have Java in darwinports it is not possible to have a dependency on it. apache-ant also depends on Java but has no dependecy on it, so I thought it would be o.k.. I'm unsure which of our target platforms do NOT have Java. Afaik FreeBSD, NetBSD, Solaris, OS-X all do - does Darwin? especially on x86?

Thanks for the submission!
Unfortunatly, DarwinPorts, are (in general) only source ports... the port you have provided seems to only install a binary (jrendezvous.jar). It would be much better if you could please modify your port to build from source, and resubmit as a new bug.
also, be aware, there have been some changes as to how ports are built since when you submitted this. There is a new destroot target.
see "man portfile" for more info
Thanks again.
