Description
I'm proposing a new port tetex-frogg, based on the Debian package. It consists in a little collection of French LaTeX/BiBTeX styles: fr-plain.bst, frmath.sty, lettre.cls.

I think it would not be a bad idea to include in this package (or a tetex-styles-fr) the bibliography style from the Société mathématique de France : smfalpha.bst and smfplain.bst. And probably the other styles present in http://www.ctan.org/tex-archive/macros/latex/contrib/smflatex/ . In order to have a more complete set of styles for writing latex articles en français.

Yes, I think it would be a good idea to have these styles. I don't know what is best: including them in tetex-frogg and having a separate port smflatex based on <ftp://tug.ctan.org/pub/tex-archive/macros/latex/contrib/smflatex.zip>.
I've looked at Debian and it seems that they want to move to TeX Live:
http://lists.debian.org/debian-tetex-maint/2006/03/msg00211.html
which means that the tetex-frogg Debian package may disappear.
I'm going to post a mail to the DP mailing-list.

I'll vote for a separate port. I committed this in the tex category. For new tex ports, please put the tex category as the main category and assign bugs to me.
Thanks for the submission.
