Description
The port is only a couple days old and it's already out of date. :-) Anyway, please update the port with the attached diff. It has been tested on OS X 10.4.5.

Committed, with some changes.
Note use of interpolation to avoid having multiple places to change the version, and use of distname/worksrcdir instead of distname/distfile.

(Greg: by the way, I notice that there is now a source drop available for maven2 at the mirrors (http://apache.cs.utah.edu/maven/source/ for instance). Would you care to work to see if you can get it to build from source?)
