Perhaps updating the port to 5.6.46 would help. (I don't know.)
tried, but still have the same problem...

The port was updated to 5.6.46 via #13258 but Jan Wielemaker says the bug was fixed in the swi-prolog git repository after version 5.6.46 was released. So if 5.6.47 isn't imminent, maybe the specific git commit that fixed it should be isolated and turned into a patch for the portfile.

Version 5.6.47 is expected soon, before the end of November.

The port was updated to 5.6.48 some time ago, so I'm closing this ticket. If it's still a problem, please reopen the ticket.
