From your build log, the first thing to try would be installing the MacOSX10.4u SDK.

@jmr: agreed. Install the 10.4u SDK. It should have been installed by Xcode by default. Perhaps you disabled it before installing or maybe your Xcode is too old. Get the latest Xcode (2.5 for Mac OS X 10.4; 3.1 for Mac OS X 10.5) and try again.
