Per our email conversation, you wouldn't have had a chance to update this to pass the mysql include/lib directories into the build instead of creating those symlinks would you?

Using patch-Portfile with files/patch-configure and files/patch-contrib-dlz-config.dlz.in builds without errors on my system.

I have installed this patch and applied locally. I have a perfect build with a now working named with DLZ support. I was able to get it to return a SOA record from localhost in test. This SOA only existed in MySql. From my experience, I can confirm this works.

Is there any ETA on when I may see this committed? As far as I can tell, it work well. Thanks to Brad for adding in this variant.

When I get some time to do it (no one pays me for macports work ;-) ). Now that you have tested it and confirmed that it's working it shouldn't take me as long.

How do I get this into MacPorts now, if I have it local, I just delete the local port files and run selfupate?
