KDE Nepomuk uses Soprano for accessing RDF based data. Soprano's default backend is the virtuoso database server. The connection between Soprano und virtuoso is established via iodbc.

FYI, virtuoso had also been requested in #23224.

It looks like it builds only in one architecture..and for example it causes soprano fail to build.
$ lipo -info /opt/local/lib/virtodbc.so Non-fat file: /opt/local/lib/virtodbc.so is architecture: x86_64
