Thanks, Thomas. I've updated the portfile and added you as a maintainer too. Glad to hear someone else is interested in getting more of the astrophysics codebase into macports, too.

ATpy does not depend on pywcs nor matplotlib so these can be removed as dependencies. In addition, ATpy *does* rely on numpy, so this needs to be added as a dependency. Finally, pyfits isn't strictly required for running, so not sure if it needs to be here? Maybe a variant (e.g. 'sumo') could be added that installs as many of the optional dependencies as possible?
Note: I just submitted these ports but realized that you already did, so I will request that mine be closed. Feel free to add me as a maintainer on the various astro python packages you submitted if you want to share the load.
