Description

plaform.mac_ver() is broken in python25. 

$ python
Python 2.5.5 (r255:77872, Dec 19 2010, 21:33:50) 
[GCC 4.2.1 (Apple Inc. build 5664)] on darwin
Type "help", "copyright", "credits" or "license" for more information.
>>> import platform
>>> platform.mac_ver()
('4294967306.4294967302.4294967301', ('', '', ''), '')

This issue is fixed for python24 according to #22278 but seems to yet be fixed for python25.
