how to change the default server url

hi,
I am new to macports. I had trouble changing the default url from which the ports are retrieved. the macports installation on my macbook by default downloads from http://ykf.ca.macports.org. I am in the US and it can be very very slow. I looked into /opt/local/etc/macport/macport.conf and source.conf. I didn't see the canadian url listed. How can I change the default?
Please help. Thanks!

MacPorts sorts the download servers in order based on ping time; apparently the Canadian mirror has the lowest ping time for you, but a slower transfer speed. Unfortunately there is no setting by which you can influence this.
