Description
If you compile e.g macports or other things the cpu is going berserk, and if you use virtualbox fusion the virtual machine almost get locked if you don't change the priority to a very low level of such cpu hogging processes. i think it would be a overall improvement for many processes (system responsive) to add this auto nice daemon. i use it for tools like Handbrake or unrar, par2 and a lot of other cpu intensive tasks. so it will be a great improvement. actually i know it runs on FreeBSD according to the developers of and, but i think its trivial to port that thing to OSX. thanks

I am assuming this is the software you're requesting a port for: http://and.sourceforge.net/
Note that you can tell MacPorts to compile "nicely" by setting buildnicevalue in macports.conf to a value greater than zero. I happen to have mine set to 10.
