Description
:h sh-awk is not available from macports vim.
I just tried MacVIm, it has :h sh-awk. Could anybody fix this problem?

The runtime help files are not tracked in the patches provided for vim. There has been an earlier discussion on this topic on macports-dev and this is also stated in the discussion you linked above. The only source for more up-to-date runtme files would be the mercurial repository where the files are updated irregularly.
