Description

Build fails for me using Snow Leopard (Xcode 3.2.6). Here's what I get from the log:

It's known that this port does not build; as it is now, the XBMC port is totally obsolete and should not be used. If someone can devote the time to updating it to the current version then that can change (#29557), but there's no point trying to use XBMC 8 when the current version is 11 and release candidates of 12 are already out. Download XBMC from http://xbmc.org/ .

Thanks for the response. Should this port be removed until such time as it is updated, so folks like me don't waste time trying to install it?
