Description (last modified by ryandesign (Ryan Carsten Schmidt))
I have just build qt4-mac (2.8.4 revision 6, variants +demo +examples) and qt4-creator-mac (2.6.1, no variants), however when I attempt to register the documentation from the macports install of Qt4, QtCreator tells me:
Unable to register documentation. + Invalid documentation file: + /opt/local/share/doc/qt4/qch/qt.qch
Is there any diags I can post?

Within QtCreator:
File > Preferences.
Select "Help" from list.
Select "Documentation" tab.
The Documentation list is empty, so press the "Add..." button.
Navigate to /opt/local/share/doc/qt4/qch and attempt to add a .qch file.

I cannot reproduce this with qt4-creator-mac 2.7.1 in my local overlay - with that version, everything works as expected for me. I suggest you try the patch from #38477 or wait until 2.7.1 hits the MacPorts repository, which I hope will be soonish.

I have the same issue with QtCreator 2.7.1 which means that the .qch files themselves are corrupt in Qt 4.8.4 rev 6.
