Actually, I guess the dependency on qt4-mac-sqlite3-plugin could always be removed if it were folded into qt4-mac.
Is the revision bump necessary? Do existing installations need to be rebuilt?

You're right, the revision bump is unnecessary. Users for whom the current revision built (because they already had qt4-mac-sqlite3-plugin on their systems) should not be affected by the bugfix.
