Unable to install/upgrade gobject-introspection after upgrade to OSX 10.10 yosemite (xcode 6.0.1)

The preprocessor failed. I think this might be due to $CC
not being set in the environment, but I haven't really investigated in detail.

I've tried to set CC=/usr/bin/gcc and CC=/usr/bin/clang, but still the same.
Available versions for gcc: mp-gcc49 mp-llvm-gcc42 none
Tried all of them, still the same.
