I would really like to test the salt 2014.7.0 on my MACs and this ticket seems to be the only one that has unmet dependendcies that stop me from installing the latest 2014.7.0 port. I don't seem to be able to manually setup the raet, py27-raet and raet_select ports basing it on these attached files. Would you mind explaining how to setup or untangle the three ports salt raet and raet_select , so that I can build and test it locally? Maybe give me a tarball for raet_select ?

I have just tested the currently latest released salt @2014.1.13 install on a fully up-to-date Mavericks (10.9.5) and it does fail with the same messages. So this is not a Yosemite issue. ;-)
