Description
I have installed the Terminal port with the Quartz variant and the text is invisible, the window only contains the background color.
Here is the console output:
(terminal:77128): exo-CRITICAL **: exo_xsession_client_new_with_group: assertion 'GDK_IS_WINDOW (leader)' failed (terminal:77128): GLib-GObject-WARNING **: invalid (NULL) pointer instance (terminal:77128): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: g_signal_connect_data: assertion 'G_TYPE_CHECK_INSTANCE (instance)' failed

I'm pretty sure that Quartz is an unsupported GDK target for the Xfce Terminal, but you could try filing an upstream bug...
We could still update Xfce to say 4.8 or something, but it would be X11 only. And yeah, that would include the Terminal.
Note: See
TracTickets for help on using
tickets.
Try port xfce4-terminal instead. Terminal was supposed to have been replaced by xfce4-terminal years ago. See #41861 and #31203.
