The revision line should be removed when updating the version.
Instead of manually running autogen.sh in a pre-configure block, maybe we should use "use_autoreconf yes" and "autoreconf.cmd ./autogen.sh".

1) I removed the revision number 2) I made the changes you suggested re. autogen.sh (worked like a charm)
