Description
BATS is the "Bash Automated Testing System". I'd like to see BATS -- https://github.com/sstephenson/bats -- added to macports.

The last commit to sstephenson/bats was in 2016 (funnily enough around when this ticket was submitted).
It seems like development has moved to bats-core/bats-core.
