both are setting to python38 should it need to be set to previous version of python? python37/python27
with current setting (python -> python38 & python3 -> python38) I am able to bulid zeek @3.0.0

Then it build successfully with both python & python3 -> python37 thank you!

The Portfile was created before Python 3.8. I think the Python version will have to be set as a variant. I'll look into that shortly.
