hi Franklin, of course you can open tickets to request new ports. However, it's not very likely (in my opinion at least) that someone else will add the ~20 ports or so you for which you opened a ticket. So if you're really interested in them, I would recommend trying to make a Portfile yourself and add that to a ticket and ask for help if you're stuck.
Yes I’m trying to do it myself. My plan is to first do all the Rust ports; I would start with exa (#60084) since it’s more popular. In the mean time I don’t mind (actually I would even appreciate) if anyone can pick this ticket up, so I’m not assigning every ticket to myself.
