Description
I logged bugs #6080 and #6081 more than three weeks ago. Following the DarwinPorts manual, it looks like this port has been abandoned.

The patches in the linked bugs certainly don't fix tsocks. All the wrapper shell scripts are still broken. However, all that I need now works, I just set up the environment something like the following:
--begin---------- DYLD_INSERT_LIBRARIES=$home/host-src/tsocks-1.8/libtsocks.1.dylib DYLD_FORCE_FLAT_NAMESPACE=t TSOCKS_DEBUG=-1 TSOCKS_CONF_FILE=/opt/local/etc/tor/tor-tsocks.conf --end----------
Having said that, newbies will be confused that the port only half-works, so removal may make sense from that point of view. I can maintain my own copy no problem.

No, the port's just broken, and the one patch there doesn't really fix all the problems. Honestly tsocks should be removed, as it needs significant changes to even work on OS X.
