Which old macOS version? The only reason this port exists is for Tiger; see #18175.

Summary: graphviz-oldgui fails to extract with old macOS gnutar: A lone zero block at 6236 → graphviz-oldgui @16: wrong worksrcdir

It fails to extract on modern macOS too. The "lone zero block" is not the problem; the incorrect worksrcdir is.
