BUG: Gnome fills system.log with "HFS: /rsrc paths are deprecated"

It would not let me assign the bug to gnome-darwinports@…, so I am sending a cc there.

I am using the current version of darwinports' Gnome (2.12.2) with everything current. I am using Apple's X11 on OS X 10.4.5, all current (including the recent security update). I am also using the vanilla .xinitrc file that comes with Apple's X11 with the suggested entries from "​http://wiki.opendarwin.org/index.php/DarwinPorts:GNOME" appended to the end of it.

I happened to look at my system.log file and noted that when Gnome is running, they are being filled with lines like the following. They don't appear *every* second, but around 40 times a second. I would swear that yesterday they appeared constantly, but today they seem to appear only as when gnome applications open (or are reopened again later) and when Gnome is starting up.

Gnome continues to work fine.

I googled "/rsrc paths are deprecated" and found, among other things,

"Those warnings are generated on 10.4 when resource forks are referenced using the deprecated "/rsrc" suffix. Open Terminal, run a command like "file filename/rsrc", and you'll see a message in the system.log: % file .cshrc/rsrc

Using the longer "/..namedfork/rsrc" suffix avoids that. "
